Children's Circle welcomes children from 6 weeks to 10 years old. We have activities for everyone as our rooms cater to all children and any individual needs they may require. Staff are a mix of Registered Early Childhood Educators and Early Education Assistants. Please click on the images in each of the rooms below to be directed to the page for that room.

The Infant Room has 10 spaces, for children from 6 weeks to 18 months. The staffing consists of a mix of Registered Early Childhood Educators and Early Education Assistants. In this room, fond memories begin and the wonderful, strong bonds of friendship are formed; friendships for the children and their parents, creating support in the enriching challenge of raising our children. We recognize that infants run on their own schedules, so when it comes to feeding and scheduling times each child will have their own schedule to follow in the infant room.

The Toddler Room has 15 spaces, for children from 18 months to 2 1/2 years old. The staffing consists of a mix of Early Childhood Educators and Early Childhood Assistants. Children in the Toddler Room are walking and beginning to engage with others in more social ways and our programming is aimed at letting them experience the world around them and making new friends.

The Hunny Bear Room has children ranging in age from 2 1/2 to 4 years. Three staff care for the children: two early childhood educators (ECE), and one assistant. The children that are moving up to the Hunny Bear Room from the Toddler Room and for the children joining the Hunny Bear Room get to know the Hunny Bear children and teachers before fully transitioning into the room.

The children in the Sesame Room range in age from 2 1/2 to 4 years. The total number of children in the room is 24. The staffing consists of a mix of Early Childhood Educators and Early Childhood Assistants.

The children in the Dino Room range in age from 2 1/2 to 4 years. The total number of children in the room is 16. The staffing consists of a mix of Early Childhood Educators and Early Childhood Assistants.

The children in the Cool Cat Room range in age from four to six years. The total number of children in the room is 26. The staffing consists of a mix of Early Childhood Educators and Early Childhood Assistants.

The Hot Shot age group of six to ten years allows each child to explore their potential in terms of leadership and following another child’s lead. They will feel safe and be able to express their full range of emotions and will be encouraged to discover alternatives to behaviours deemed socially unacceptable, whether too passive or too aggressive. Children in this age group begin to further expand their independence by following guidance from selected peers. We support peer grouping that promotes positive self-esteem among each group member, only interfering in peer groups and clubs when necessary. The staffing consists of a mix of Early Childhood Educators and Early Childhood Assistants.

The Room Above age group of six to ten years of age allows each child to explore their potential in terms of peer development with building leadership skills and yet following another child’s lead during team-building. They feel safe and able to express their full range of emotions and encouraged to discover alternatives to behaviours deemed socially unacceptable, whether too passive or too aggressive. children in this age group are exploring their independence by following guidance from selected peers.
